Nick Bariluk, founder of New Song Productions

Nickʼs career as a musician spans more than 30 years. His interest and development in a wide variety of music (Jazz, Classical, Brazilian, and Contemporary Christian) has equipped him with a unique style of approaching improvisational music.

 



As Performer:

Nick has toured throughout the U.S., Europe, (Russia), Bermuda and Jamaica with recording artists such as, Jon Lucien, New York International, Brian Keane, Michael Urbaniak, Bob Baldwin, and Sherry Winston.  

As Producer:

In 1998 Nick started his own production company, “New Song Productions” which has produced and recorded  CDʼs for many artists.  (Examples found under the 'Our Work' section) In 2011 he released the co-produced CD entitled “Wide Open Dreams” under the group name “New England Sky.” 

 

Other works can be found on the album “Eklipse” (Epoch Records), with the jazz group BBC (Nick Bariluk, Joe Bracchitta and Tony Cimorosi). Nick is also found on the album “Waltz for Sharon Stone” (MJA records) featuring Artt Frank (longtime drummer with Chet Baker). His composing and arrangements can also be found on Sherry Winstonʼs (jazz flutist) cd, “Life is Love and Love is You” featuring renowned jazz artists Grover Washington, Najee, Norman Brown, Jon Lucien, and Bobby Lyle. 
 

As Composer:

Nick has written music for over 30 films which include Blacksideʼs PBS mini series ”Americaʼs War On Poverty”, Nova Productions 10 hour mini series,
“ A Science Odyssey: Science and technology in the 20th century", several ABC “Turning Points” with Barbara Walters and a number of other PBS and HBO documentaries.
